Key Responsibilities
Automation and Performance Testing
– Design, review, and propose tailored automation solutions for diverse client needs, including CI/CD implementations and virtualization.
– Build performance testing CI/CD solutions using open-source technologies.
– Lead testing activities across functional, automation, performance, and certification domains.
– Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate the right set of open-source tools and technologies, ensuring ROI compared to commercial tools.
– Define and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans, breaking complex issues into manageable components (“smart testing”).
Team Leadership and Management
– Set up teams for manual, automation, performance, and security testing.
– Motivate and guide teams to achieve high standards and KPAs.
– Develop training plans for employees and clients to upskill teams effectively.
– Enable teams to adapt agile methodologies within engineering processes.
– Prepare daily workloads, allocate tasks, and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
– Chair weekly team meetings to review targets and achievements.
Client and Stakeholder Collaboration
– Build strong relationships with client leadership, acting as a trusted single point of contact for all technology initiatives and communications.
– Negotiate effectively between internal and external customers to ensure harmony among vendor/partner and client teams.
– Support engineering teams in product implementation by providing expert guidance on design and business aspects.
Process Improvement and Governance
– Create and manage project plans, mitigating risks and managing scope changes.
– Establish processes to manage issues, risks, and operational efficiency.
– Ensure continuous skill development within the technology group by researching and integrating new technologies and products.
– Deliver end-to-end project management with a focus on quality outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting
– Develop test reports, effort estimation sheets, and documentation for test strategies and plans.
– Monitor and track project progress, preparing detailed status updates for stakeholders.
