Position Summary:
Job Summary:
Strong experience as an SRE / DevOps Engineer in cloud environments.
Hands-on expertise with Azure and AWS.
Experience with HDInsight and/or AWS EMR.
Solid knowledge of Docker and containerized workloads.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash).
Good understanding of cloud networking and load balancers.
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Platform & Cluster Management
Design, deploy, and operate HDInsight and AWS EMR clusters for large-scale data processing.
Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and cost optimization of data platforms.
Monitor cluster health, capacity, and workload execution.
Containerized Applications
Support applications developed and deployed using Docker containers.
Troubleshoot container-level and platform-level issues across environments.
Work closely with development teams to improve service reliability and operability.
CI/CD & Deployment:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying services across:
Azure VM–based deployments
Azure App Service
AWS Serverless compute (Lambda, related services)
Implement deployment strategies such as blue-green, canary, and rolling updates.
Automation & Scripting:
Develop and maintain automation using Shell scripting(Bash).
Automate operational tasks, deployments, monitoring, and incident remediation.
Maintain reusable, version-controlled infrastructure modules.
Enforce best practices for security, scalability, and compliance.
Networking & Load Balancing:
Design and manage networking and load balancer configurations in both Azure and AWS.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and traffic routing issues.
Ensure secure and reliable service-to-service communication.
