Job Title: Appian Developer (Level 2 Certified)

• Appian Level 2 Developer Certification required (verification and copy must be provided)
• Candidates may only be represented by one vendor for this opportunity
Position Overview:
We are seeking a certified Appian Level 2 Developer to design, develop, and deploy business applications using Appian’s low-code platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building SAIL interfaces, developing process models, integrating APIs, and optimizing application performance for this c2c requirements on daily basis.
This role requires a proactive problem-solver with solid Agile experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including analysts and QA. Experience supporting Texas State Agencies and familiarity with GAMS (Government Acquisition Management Suite) are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build Appian applications using SAIL interfaces and Process Models
• Develop integrations with external systems via APIs
• Optimize UI performance and application responsiveness
• Write and execute unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams for validation and testing
• Ensure remote coding jobs adherence to Agile development practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 8+ years of Agile methodology experience
• 8+ years of strong design, development, and analytical experience
• 8+ years of effective communication and teamwork experience
• 3+ years of Appian or low-code platform development experience
• Appian Level 2 Senior Developer Certification (minimum 3 years)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience; high school diploma required)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with one or more Texas State Agencies, certification courses for it jobs
• 2+ years of experience with GAMS (Government Acquisition Management Suite)
• 3+ years of hands-on Appian or low-code platform development experience beyond minimum requirements
