MySQL Database Administrator responsible for managing MySQL databases across production| staging| and development environments.The DBA handles installation| configuration| upgrades| monitoring| performance tuning| backup and recovery| replication| high availability| security| and troubleshooting.The position also involves optimizing slow queries| tuning indexes and memory| managing replication setups and failover| enforcing access control and security policies| and using monitoring tools such as MySQL Enterprise Monitor| Prometheus| and Grafana. Knowledge of backup tools like mysqldump| mysqlpump| and Percona XtraBackup is important.In addition| the DBA works closely with developers| DevOps| and infrastructure teams to support schema design and query optimization. Automation skills in Shell| Python| or Ansible are considered a plus.
