Role Summary

The Senior Informatica IDMC Platform Support Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end operational ownership, stability, and optimization of the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. This role leads production support, incident and problem management, Secure Agent operations, and platform governance while acting as the primary technical escalation point and advisor to stakeholders.

The role requires deep hands‑on expertise in IDMC services and strong leadership experience managing enterprise‑scale data integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Ownership & Operations

Own 24×7 production support for Informatica IDMC, including CDI, CDI‑PC, and Secure Agents
Ensure platform availability, reliability, and compliance with SLAs/SLOs
Monitor platform health, job executions, agent performance, and capacity utilization
Lead proactive platform stability and continuous improvement initiatives
Incident, Problem & Change Management

Act as L3/L4 escalation lead for critical IDMC production incidents
Drive root‑cause analysis (RCA), preventive actions, and trend analysis
Own problem management and recurring issue remediation
Review, plan, and approve platform changes, upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
Secure Agent & Infrastructure Management

Manage Secure Agent installation, configuration, sizing, grouping, and upgrades
Optimize Secure Agent concurrency, parallelism, and resource usage
Support high‑availability and scalable Secure Agent architectures
Coordinate infrastructure and network dependencies with platform teams
IDMC Workload & Performance Optimization

Troubleshoot and resolve IDMC job failures, performance bottlenecks, and SLA breaches
Optimize task flows, mappings, schedules, and runtime configurations
Partner with development teams to ensure production‑ready designs
Work with Informatica Support for product defects, fixes, and enhancements
Governance, Documentation & Compliance

Define and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and support documentation
Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, audit, and security standards
Support release readiness, KT, and operational onboarding activities
Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead and mentor onshore/offshore support teams
Coordinate with business, engineering, and architecture stakeholders
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for IDMC platform operations
Provide platform health dashboards, metrics, and executive‑level status reporting
Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

10+ years of overall Informatica experience
5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting Informatica IDMC
Strong experience with:
IDMC Cloud Data Integration (CDI / CDI‑PC)
Secure Agent architecture and operations
Enterprise production support models (24×7)

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of ETL / ELT architectures and scheduling
Experience supporting large‑scale batch data pipelines
Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and validation
Familiarity with hybrid (cloud + on‑prem) data integration setups
Platform & Operations

Deep experience with incident, problem, and change management
Proven ability to lead complex RCA and platform stabilization efforts
Experience working directly with Informatica vendor support
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in PowerCenter to IDMC coexistence or migration programs
Informatica certifications (IDMC / PowerCenter – preferred)
Experience in telecom, cable, financial services, or large enterprise environments
Exposure to Informatica CDGC or other IDMC services is a plus
Leadership & Soft Skills

Strong technical leadership and decision‑making ability
Excellent communication with technical and executive stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in high‑pressure environments
Proven experience mentoring and leading support teams
