Role Descriptions:
The SAP Ariba BI Lead is responsible for end to end ownership of Ariba Buying Invoicing initiatives| providing functional and delivery leadership across sourcing| contracting| buying| and invoicing processes. This role operates at a lead level| combining technical project management| functional domain expertise| and independent problem solving| with accountability for successful execution in fast paced| global environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-end Project Delivery Ownership Own end-to-end delivery of SAP Ariba BI workstreams| covering scope| timelines| dependencies| and execution. Drive project deliverables across fast paced and parallel initiatives| ensuring outcomes meet business and program objectives. Proactively manage risks| issues| and dependencies| resolving challenges with minimal escalation. Serve as the primary point of accountability for delivery success within the Ariba BI domain.
2. Functional Leadership SAP Ariba BI Provide lead level functional expertise in SAP Ariba Buying Invoicing| with strong understanding of Sourcing and contracting integration Buying and invoicing processes Upstream and downstream process interactions Understand how tools| integrations| and business processes interact across the source to pay landscape. Guide solution design decisions to ensure scalable| compliant| and business aligned outcomes. Support and advise stakeholders on best practices and process optimization within Ariba BI.
3. Technical Project Management Execution Apply technical project management skills to plan| track| and execute Ariba BI implementations. Manage task execution| sequencing| and handoffs across functional and technical resources. Ensure alignment between business requirements| system configuration| and delivery timelines. Support implementation activities based on prior experience in similar Ariba BI programs.
4. Leadership| Independence Problem Solving Operate with a high degree of independence| proactively identifying solutions without constant oversight. Act as a lead level decision maker| resolving issues and guiding teams toward resolution. Mentor and guide junior team members as needed to maintain delivery momentum and quality. Collaborate effectively with global| cross functional teams and stakeholders.
5. Stakeholder Global Collaboration Communicate clearly and effectively with business| technical| and program stakeholders. Provide regular status updates| risk outlooks| and progress reporting. Demonstrate flexibility to align with PST time zone| while supporting collaboration across global time zones. Generic Managerial Skills| If any Lead and manage end to end SAP Ariba BI delivery| with accountability for scope| timelines| quality| and business outcomes across sourcing| buying| and invoicing workstreams.
