Job Description:
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Designs and develops self-service metrics dashboards/tools and data visualization using Tableau or other data visualization tools
Job Requirements:
Experience working with one or more of the following BI tools: Tableau Cloud, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep, QlikView, Business Objects and Alteryx.
Experience in the development and deployment of management and executive dashboards and reports including working with management and sponsors to gather and interpret requirements and turn those into dashboards that drive actionable decisions.
Knowledge of query languages (example: SQL)
Experience or familiarity with Salesforce and/or other CRM systems.
Experience or familiarity with Oracle/Snowflake/SAP transactional systems and business processes used in quoting, order processing, and financial reporting.
Understanding of business processes, KPI and metrics development as well as financial reporting metrics.
Desire and ability to work in a large, complex and changing environment that is moving and evolving into a SaaS business model.
Solid communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Degree holder in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data mining, Data Analytics or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis or statistical/AI/ML modeling
Experience with BI tool migration:
Responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the migration of Tableau workbooks, prep workflows, data sources, and dashboards from on-premises to Tableau Cloud environment.
Responsible for planning and executing the migration of Alteryx workflows to the new Alteryx version and the Alteryx server environment. Which includes DCM connection setup.
Responsible for planning and executing the migration of project related Oracle data sources / queries into Snowflake queries / data sources
Tasks related to the BI tool migration:
Migration of all projects related data / input queries from Oracle to Snowflake. Data validation to ensure accuracy.
Migration of all Alteryx workflows to new version and Alteryx BI environment.
Migration of Tableau assets (workbooks, dashboards, data sources) from on-premises or Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud. Optimize Tableau workbooks and data sources to ensure performance and scalability in the cloud environment. Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are maintained throughout the migration process.
