Required Skills & Experience
7+ years (84 months) of system administration experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HR & HCM 9.x or higher.
7+ years of experience with installation, configuration, tuning, patching, upgrades, and code migrations in Unix/Solaris/Linux environments.
7+ years of PeopleTools 8.49+ experience including installation, upgrades, patching, tuning, and configuration.
7+ years of experience performing PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades using PUM and Change Assistant.
5+ years (60 months) of experience with WebLogic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrades, and High Availability (HA).
5+ years of Oracle Database (10g or higher) experience for creating and maintaining PeopleSoft databases.
Strong expertise in Oracle, PeopleSoft, Linux, Unix, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, and enterprise architecture.
Proven ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to large technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale government environments.
Experience with enterprise modernization initiatives.
Strong documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
Experience working in secure environments requiring fingerprint-based background checks.
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator to provide Infrastructure and PeopleSoft Administration support for the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS) environment. The role will focus on PeopleSoft infrastructure architecture, upgrades, enhancements, administration, and ongoing operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Design and document PeopleSoft infrastructure architecture based on best practices for implementation and upgrades.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support PeopleSoft software components including WebLogic, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, and Oracle Database.
Perform administration and operational support for new and existing PeopleSoft environments using the latest technology stack.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to meet business and system requirements.
Collaborate with agencies and technical teams to develop scalable and secure technical solutions.
Create enterprise-level solution architectures aligned with organizational goals.
Analyze, troubleshoot, test, and resolve system configurations and technical issues.
Support legacy PeopleSoft applications and modernization initiatives.
Develop technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
