Position: API Testing Engineer
Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $45/hr on C2C
Overview / Summary
We are seeking an API Testing Engineer with 8–10 years of overall experience, including 4+ years of hands-on API testing experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
Perform API testing using Postman.
Utilize tools such as Jira, Xray, and Confluence for testing and collaboration activities.
Work effectively within Agile testing environments.
Analyze issues, identify root causes, and contribute to problem resolution.
Function as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
8–10 years of overall IT experience.
4+ years of experience in API testing.
Strong experience with API testing using Postman.
Experience with Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Agile testing.
Ability to work as an individual contributor.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of GCP, automation, and database testing is an added advantage.
Insurance domain knowledge is an added advantage.
