Role: GCP Architect with Java / Java GCP Architect

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite Day 1 – Hybrid)
Contract Role

We are seeking an experienced Java GCP Architect with experience in enterprise technology leadership, cloud transformation, and large-scale Java modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and Microservices
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (AWS/Azure experience is a plus)
Experience with event-driven architecture and cloud-native application design
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) to improve engineering productivity and delivery acceleration
Strong understanding of architecture blueprints, NFR-driven engineering, and cloud migration strategies
Responsibilities

Lead architecture and engineering oversight for Java-based cloud-native applications
Drive cloud migration, microservices adoption, platform engineering, and automation initiatives
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions
Promote AI-assisted engineering and reusable frameworks to accelerate delivery
Provide technical leadership across large distributed delivery teams and engage with client stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering transformation programs in the BFSI domain (preferred)
Experience in Healthcare, Telecom, or Technology domains is a plus
Cloud certifications (GCP/AWS/Azure), SAFe, Scrum Master, or PMP certifications are advantageous
Proven leadership in large-scale enterprise engagements with onsite/offshore delivery models
