Position: Senior Mainframe COBOL Developer (with Insurance Functions)

Location: Remote (Locals to Dallas preferred as candidate can visit the office as and when required).

Duration: 12+ months C2C

Experience Level: 12+ Years or above

Job Description:

·       12+ years of hands on experience developing and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL.

·       Strong experience with JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, IBM z/OS, and TSO/ISPF.

·       Experience developing and supporting batch and online mainframe applications.

·       Strong production support, debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning experience.

·       Experience with Endevor or Changeman and scheduling tools such as Control M or CA7.

·       Experience integrating mainframe systems with modern applications using IBM MQ, APIs, or file based interfaces.

·       Strong communication skills with the ability to work with insurance business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams.‌

·       Experience with insurance functions such as policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting, rating, or premium processing
