Title: Senior Data Platform Migration Lead

Skills Required:
Enterprise Data Warehouse Migration Frameworks: High-resolution tracking familiarity with massive query optimization migrations, specifically managing cross-platform migrations from open-source query engines (e.g., Trino) to managed warehouse services (BigQuery).
Data Lakehouse Architectural Tracking: Functional understanding of modern catalog lifecycles—specifically upgrading open table structures (e.g., Iceberg v1 to v2+) and handling metadata synchronization components from legacy metastores (DPMS) to production runtime environments (Lakehouse Runtime Catalog).
Agentic AI Implementation Management: Coordination of Large Language Model (LLM) implementation pilots, managing structured query translation validations, cost-to-accuracy trade-off metrics (e.g., Gemini Pro vs. Gemini Flash), and Context Layer scoping for AI Agents.
Cloud Infrastructure Decommissioning Operations: Governance of orderly project shutdown workflows, including asset tracking, dataset teardowns across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) proof-of-concept spaces, and formal managerial resource handoffs.
Observability & Monitoring Telemetry: Functional familiarity with utilizing and interpreting Grafana dashboards alongside internal cloud telemetry engines to monitor data pipeline health, track service level objectives (SLOs), and proactively cross-verify system performance anomalies.
