Location – Remote (client location is Savanna Georgia. The resource can work remote but may be asked to attend an onsite visit for large team meetings once in a while. (Customer) will cover travel expenses when these times arise.)
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Develop and establish quality assurance strategies, procedures, measures and testing standards based on the IT business model for the SAP/ERP systems, and enhancements to the application.
Utilize, cultivate, and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices from global QA standards such as SCRUM using an AGILE framework for the SAP Tosca project.
Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in the application platform SAP/ERP as bugs are found.
Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, building regression, building automation, load and acceptance testing methods.
Analyze documentation and technical specifications of SAP/ERP under deployment or consideration to determine intended functionality.
Ensure that testing activities allow SAP to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
Create and execute Tosca test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
Test SAP/ERP using Tosca, to ensure its integration into Gulfstreams system meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications; analyzes test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
Make recommendations for Tosca improvements to programmers and application developers; communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
Lead team(s) of people with coordination of quality assurance efforts, test planning, test development, test execution, and test reporting activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Tricentis Tosca software scripting, admin support, and backend support.
Knowledge of current standards of SAP systems.
Knowledge of information systems and an understanding of integrated systems. Knowledge of IT system environments/platforms and development tools.
Experience with manual and automated testing and associated tools.
Experience in quality assurance engineering as part of the development process.
Consulting, client relations skills and customer service orientation.
Written and verbal communication skills and presentation expertise.
Interpersonal and people management skills.
