Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to plan, manage, and execute testing across multiple high-profile projects with complex functional domains. This role covers the full testing lifecycle: test planning, test case development, test automation, defect management, and reporting of test metrics to stakeholders and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Under direction of QA lead, develop testing products including test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and defect reporting documentation.

Manage testing across multiple projects within a matrix organization, covering complex functional domains.

Build and maintain automated test solutions using tools such as Selenium with .net or related programming languages.

Manage the defect lifecycle, including defect creation, monitoring, status reporting, and retesting of defect fixes using tools such as Jira and HP ALM/Quality Center.

Create reports and dashboards for test metrics and present testing status to stakeholders and senior management.

Coordinate and liaise with performance testing and security testing teams.

Other duties as assigned.

Location Notes:

Consultants may be eligible to telecommute for more than 50% of their work hours, up to and including 100% remote work. Telecommuting arrangements require direct manager approval and are subject to change based on program needs. Consultants approved for 100% remote work must attend monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office and be available for major milestone meetings as needed.
