Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, focusing on designing data solutions for API-driven environments and modern data platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of domain-driven design, data modeling, and database technologies, including enterprise-grade data warehousing.
• In-depth knowledge of analytics, AI, ML, and associated architectures and solutions.
• Experience with API management platforms and designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience implementing data governance and quality frameworks in complex organizational settings.
• Expertise in data security principles and compliance regulations affecting data accessed via APIs.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native data technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and the capability to lead cross-functional teams with a focus on data and test data management.
• Experience leading a Data Platform CoE or similar organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to drive innovation and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Must be proficient in one or more from the following Modern Data Platform Tools and Solutions

• Cloud Data Warehouses: Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery, Databricks Lakehouse, Snowflake etc.
• Data Lakes: AWS S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, Google Cloud Storage
• Data Pipelines and Orchestration: Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory
• Data Integration: Informatica, Talend, Denodo
• Data Quality: Informatica, Talend, Erwin Data Quality
• Data Governance: Collibra, Informatica Axon Data Governance, IBM Information Governance
• Machine Learning and AI: TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning
• Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Looker
