In this video I’m going to show you what the infamous Panasonic 25mm F1.4 rattlesnake noise (or as some like to call it machine gun noise) is and how to fix it by changing only one setting in the custom menu of your camera. As far as I’m aware rattlesnake/machine gun noise is an issue that only occurs on Olympus micro 4/3 cameras. The Olympus 45mm F1.8 also has this issue, but since its aperture is much quieter it is not as annoying as on the Panasonic Leica DG 25mm F1.4 Summilux ASPH.
