If you make under $10,000 you are allowed to turn off Etsy offsite ads. If you make more than that and are a professional seller on Etsy then you are not allowed to turn it off and should plan to raise your prices accordingly to make you are still making a profit.

Etsy is a great platform for beginners because it is a marketplace which means it already has buyers who are looking for items to buy.
