Job Title: Technical Business Analyst With .NET
Type : Contract
Location: Remote
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and .NET development teams
Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases)
Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications aligned with .NET architecture
Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams during design, development, and testing phases
Support API integrations, database interactions, and system workflows
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Validate solutions through UAT support, test case reviews, and defect triage
Ensure traceability between requirements, design, development, and testing
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies early—no last-minute surprises
Required Skills & Qualifications Core Skills
Strong experience as a Business Analyst in technical / application development environments
Hands-on understanding of .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, MVC)
Solid knowledge of SQL Server / relational databases
Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and system-to-system communication
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong documentation skills (user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows)
Technical Understanding (Must-Have)
Ability to read and understand .NET code at a high level
Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD concepts, and application architecture
Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
Nice to Have
Experience in enterprise or large-scale application development
Exposure to microservices architecture
Prior experience working with cross-functional global teams
Domain experience (Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Retail) is a plus
