Job Role and Responsibilities:
Cap Gemini is looking for an experienced Sr AEM Developer to deliver Digital Marketing and Omni-channel eCommerce platform solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Must-Have Skills (Core Requirements):
AEM Expertise: 5-7 years of experience in AEM/CQ (Adobe CQ5/AEM 6.x).
Core Development: Strong proficiency in developing OSGI bundles, AEM Templates, Components, and Workflows.
Java/J2EE: Solid Java/J2EE skills, deep understanding of OOPS concepts, and experience with design patterns.
Frameworks & Internals: Experience with Java frameworks (like Spring, Struts), CRX, and Apache Sling.
Technical Design: Capability to identify and document functional and non-functional requirements, and create UML diagrams (Use case, Class, Sequence, etc.).
End-to-End Delivery: Proven experience in multiple full-cycle AEM implementations.
System Knowledge: Understanding of the AEM Security model (including SSO), MSM (Multi Site Manager), I18N, Tagging, Translation, and Search components.
Optimization: Strong focus on performance optimization and scalability within AEM.
Additional Responsibilities:
Migrating content from legacy systems to AEM.
Integrating CMS with CRM, E-commerce, and other portal platforms.
Creating solution designs and presenting them to customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
AEM 6 Developer certification.
Experience in writing Unit tests within the AEM codebase.
Knowledge of Adobe Cloud services integration.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, React).
Experience with Maven builds and CI/CD automation via Jenkins.
