Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Workato Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations using the Workato platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation, API integrations, governance frameworks, and enterprise integration architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy complex integration workflows (recipes) in Workato.

Build integrations between SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Monday.com, Smartsheet etc.

Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs.

Implement event-driven, real-time, and batch integrations.

Perform data transformation, mapping, and validation.

Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and retry strategies.

Establish governance standards and best practices across teams.

Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Technical Skills Required

Core Workato Skills

8+ years of hands-on experience with Workato platform.

Recipe lifecycle management.

Custom connectors (HTTP/SDK).

On-prem agents and environment management (Dev/QA/Prod).

Lookup tables and callable recipes.

Integration & API

REST and SOAP services.

Webhooks and event-based triggers.

JSON/XML data transformation.

API rate limiting and pagination handling.

Programming / Scripting

Ruby (Workato SDK).

JavaScript for data transformation.

SQL knowledge.

Basic understanding of .NET (nice to have).

Architecture Experience

Microservices integration patterns.

Event-driven architecture.

Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).

High availability and failover strategies.
