Position: Manual Tester

Location: Dallas, TX, Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)

Duration: 8+ months

Pay Rate: $42/hr on C2C

Description:

Role – Manual Tester with strong excel knowledge A manual tester ensures software quality by designing| creating| and executing test cases without automation tools to identify bugs| verify functionality| and validate user experience. Key responsibilities include requirement analysis| creating test plans| documentation| bug reporting| regression testing| and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Requirement Analysis  Planning Reviewing software requirements and functional specifications to develop comprehensive test plans| scenarios| and test Execution.

Manually executing test cases (functional| usability| UI) to verify that software behaviour matches expected results. Bug Reporting  Tracking Identifying| documenting| and reporting software defects in tracking systems (e.g.| Jira| Bugzilla Regression Testing Re-testing fixed bugs and running existing test cases to ensure that new code changes do not break existing functionality| as discussed Exploratory Testing Performing unscripted testing to find hidden bugs and usability issues that structured testing might miss

Communication Ability to write clear bug reports and communicate with developers.

Analytical Thinking Ability to understand complex systems and user behaviour. Strong Excel Knowledge

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
