Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Full Suite / Claims Developer to join our team in a remote capacity across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter along with exposure to the broader Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter). This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Guidewire-based applications to support insurance claims processing and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement solutions within Guidewire ClaimCenter and other InsuranceSuite modules.
Customize Guidewire applications using Gosu, Java, and Guidewire configuration tools.
Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using web services (SOAP/REST APIs).
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of Guidewire applications.
Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and coding standards.
Support deployment activities and provide post-production support.
Contribute to system design discussions and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
Strong expertise in ClaimCenter (mandatory).
Experience with PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
Proficiency in Gosu programming language and Java.
Experience with Guidewire configuration (PCF, workflows, business rules).
Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST) and integration patterns.
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL).
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Guidewire certification (ClaimCenter/PolicyCenter Developer).
Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
