Mechanical Design Engineer – Battery Pack exp

in our innovative team to design cutting-edge battery packs and deliver high-quality technical solutions throughout the quotation and development phases. Collaborate with Core and Extended Teams to shape the future of energy storage. Contribute to the creation of new design tools, methods, and technical guidelines that set industry standards.

What You’ll Do

1. System Design

Define battery pack architecture based on product functions, customer specifications, and manufacturing constraints.

Optimize technical and economic trade-offs to deliver the best solutions.

2. Design Studies & Justification

Perform detailed studies (stack-up, mechanical calculations) and integrate simulation results.

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design outputs (3D models, drawings).

3. Component Design

Define functional requirements for components in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders (MSDE, Purchasing, CDE, Laboratory).

4. Cross-Functional Innovation

Drive the development of design tools, guides, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Background

Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.

Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, UG Nx).

Strong knowledge of ISO standards (GD&T) and stack-up analysis.

Fluent in English.

Technical Expertise

Battery pack design and manufacturing processes.

Plastic and metallic part design.

Thermal management, electronics, and electrical harnesses.

Familiarity with CAD quality tools (QChecker), PLM systems, and design FMEA.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and teamwork.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to listen, adapt, and deliver under deadlines.
