SAP PO/CPI Consultant

Location : Bothell, WA.

Duration: 6+ months

 

Key Responsibilities & Skills Required:

•              Strong expertise in REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, SFTP, JDBC, and API-based integrations

•              Solid experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration (CPI), and API Management

•              Hands-on experience with message mappings (Graphical Mapping, UDFs, XSLT, Groovy, JavaScript)

•              Experience designing and developing iFlows, including error handling, exception sub-processes, and alerting

•              Good understanding of SAP backend systems such as S/4HANA, ECC, CRM, etc.

•              Ability to analyze existing PI/PO repository and directory objects and redesign them for CPI

•              Strong knowledge of security protocols including OAuth2, SSL, PGP, and certificate management

•              Proven troubleshooting skills across SAP PO/NW Java stack and CPI runtime

•              Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and functional teams

 

Migration & Modernization Experience:

•              Experience performing PI/PO interface assessments, complexity analysis, and migration effort estimation

•              Hands-on experience migrating interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI

•              Ability to create migration catalogs and map PI/PO interfaces to target CPI designs

•              Understanding of adapter-level differences and ability to redesign integrations where 1:1 migration is not feasible

•              Capability to standardize, simplify, and modernize legacy PI/PO interfaces using reusable CPI artifacts

•              Experience managing large-scale PI/PO interface migrations using a phased approach
