Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: Chicago IL (Looking only Locals)
12+ Months Contract
Role Description:
7+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer and possess good experience and exposure in Azure enterprise environments
Design and maintain CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for application build| test| and deployment workflows
Manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure| including AKS| App Services| and Function Apps
4.Implement containerized deployments using Docker and orchestrate services via Kubernetes (AKS)
Support platform modernization initiatives| including migration of services to AKS-based architecture
Integrate DevSecOps controls such as code quality checks (SonarQube) and vulnerability scanning and quality gates into pipelines
Automate deployment processes| including validation| rollback| and change management workflows
Enable secure configurations using Key Vault and Managed Identity for service and database access
Implement monitoring| logging| and alerting to ensure platform reliability and performance
Support data pipeline integration with ADLS and metadata-driven frameworks across BronzeSilverGold layers
Develop reusable templates and automation frameworks for standardized deployments
Enable deployment orchestration| validation| and rollback strategies aligned with enterprise change management processes
Collaborate with development| QA| and platform teams within Agile PI planning cycles
Candidate should have strong automation mindset and focus on reliability| scalability| and security
Education : At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required.
