Job Title: Senior AWS Cloud & .NET DevOps Engineer
Location: Plano, TX / Indianapolis, Boston, Seattle, Portsmouth, NH
Duration: Contract

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Cloud & .NET DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in ECS, EKS, Docker, containerization and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:
• AWS architecture using the Well-Architected Framework (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, IAM roles, ALB, CloudWatch, ECS, Fargate, Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store, CodeDeploy).
• Design and implement ECS clusters, services and autoscaling policies.
• Build and manage AWS CDK (TypeScript) applications, pipelines and reusable constructs across Dev/QA/Prod environments.
• Containerize .NET / .NET Core applications with optimized multi-stage Dockerfiles and migrate legacy on-prem apps to containers.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for building images, pushing to ECR, deploying to ECS and integrating unit tests, static code analysis and security scans.
• Core programming with TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, PowerShell and Bash.
• Configure and operate Kubernetes, Docker, ECS and related container orchestration tools.
• Implement observability with Datadog: sidecar agents, log forwarding, dashboards and alerts for performance and health metrics.
• Ensure security and compliance through container best practices, IAM least-privilege models and secrets encryption.
• Manage relational databases on Amazon RDS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and apply connection-pooling strategies for scalable workloads.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery, create architecture diagrams, deployment guides and runbooks, and support cloud migration assessments and planning.
