Position: Senior Java Developer with an Architect mindset
Location: Princeton, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months contract
Job Description:
Senior Java Developer with an Architect mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust, high-performance applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Apache Tomcat.
Develop and review application components, interfaces, APIs, and database designs.
Perform code reviews and establish development standards across teams.
Design and optimize solutions leveraging MS SQL Server and Sybase databases.
Drive application performance tuning, security, scalability, and resiliency initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and infrastructure teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
Support production releases, troubleshoot critical issues, and drive root cause analysis.
Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software engineering capabilities to accelerate development, automate repetitive coding tasks, generate test cases, improve documentation, and enhance overall delivery efficiency.

Required Experience:
10+ years of software development experience with Java-based enterprise applications.
3+ years of experience driving technical solutioning.
Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot integrated with IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or VS Code.
Strong understanding of application integration, REST APIs, and service-oriented architecture.
Experience analyzing legacy applications and defining modernization roadmaps.
Expertise in database schema design, SQL optimization, and data modeling.
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Skills: Advanced Java Concepts~ORACLE SQL Experience Required: 8-10 Years
Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required
