Job Title: Network Engineer With Azure
Type : Contract
Location: McKinney, TX
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with Azure DevOps implement, automate, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure integrated with cloud and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong networking fundamentals combined with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native networking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering
Design, configure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
Implement and manage cloud networking components in Microsoft Azure (VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway).
Optimize network performance, reliability, and security.
Perform network capacity planning and disaster recovery planning.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
Integrate networking components into DevOps workflows.
Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues across hybrid environments.
Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with DevOps, Cloud Architects, and Security teams.
Maintain documentation of network architecture, processes, and configurations.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering.
3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure networking services.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF DNS, DHCP VPNs, Firewalls Load Balancing concepts
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
