Role: QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)
Location: 100% Remote

About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, automation-first testing, and working closely with development and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using Playwright
Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web applications
Automate functional, regression, and smoke test suites
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and manual QA teams to define test strategies
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams to resolve issues
Ensure test coverage across browsers and devices
Maintain test data, test reports, and automation documentation
Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in QA Automation for web applications
Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript)
Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with UI test automation frameworks
Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
Experience with Git and version control systems
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Knowledge of cross-browser testing
Ability to debug test failures and analyze logs
Good to Have
Experience with API automation (REST, Postman, Playwright API testing)
Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
Experience with Docker or cloud-based test execution
Familiarity with performance or accessibility testing
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
