Urgent position of ServiceNow Asset Management Consultant (Only Local)

Location : Warren, NJ – Onsite  

Key Responsibilities

Administer and optimize ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro capabilities, including software models, entitlements, allocations, installations, reconciliation, reclamation, hardware assets, stockrooms, lifecycle states, and related controls.

Analyze software compliance positions and identify opportunities to reclaim unused licenses, correct entitlement or metric configurations, reduce unnecessary spend, and improve renewal decisions.

Validate publisher data imports, source templates, transform maps, normalization results, reconciliation rules, and data quality; investigate ignored or rejected records and coordinate corrective action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, finance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; five or more years in IT asset management, software asset management, hardware asset management, or ServiceNow delivery.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro, including entitlements, software models, discovery data, reconciliation, compliance positions, reclamation, hardware assets, lifecycle processes, and reporting.

Experience analyzing publisher licensing and renewal data and translating technical findings into cost, compliance, operational, and risk recommendations.

Working knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, import sets, transform maps, normalization, contracts, procurement data, roles, workflows, reporting, and release controls.

Strong data analysis, root-cause investigation, documentation, stakeholder communication, and independent delivery skills.

Ability to coordinate across technology, procurement, finance, security, audit, vendors, and managed-service teams in a controlled enterprise environment.
