Role Summary
Seeking a hands-on Senior Python & MongoDB Engineer to build and
support mission-critical, high-volume applications. The ideal
candidate will have deep expertise in Python, MongoDB, distributed
systems, performance optimization, scalability, resiliency, and
production operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Build and optimize Python applications for performance and reliability.
• Architect and manage enterprise-scale MongoDB deployments.
• Enhance platform scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and
operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive platform modernization.
Must-Have Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Deep expertise in MongoDB (data modeling, indexing, query tuning,
replication, sharding).
• Experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of scalability, availability, resiliency, and
disaster recovery.
• Experience with production monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident
management.
• Ability to optimize systems handling high-volume transactions.
Good-to-Have Skills
• Microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Observability and monitoring tools.
• Technical leadership and platform transformation experience.
