Job Summary
Client is looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner with a strong background in specification-driven development, AI-assisted software development, and Agile product ownership. The ideal candidate should be capable of translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications that support AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and automation frameworks. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and quality engineering (QE) teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Product Ownership
Gather business requirements and translate them into clear, structured technical specifications.
Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge-case scenarios.
Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and easy for development teams to implement.
AI-Driven Development
Define AI-consumable specifications for tools like GitHub Copilot.
Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve AI-generated code and documentation.
Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and quality.
Support AI-enabled software development initiatives.
Technical Collaboration
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and Quality Engineering (QE).
Work across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and cross-functional teams.
Ensure shared understanding of business goals and technical requirements.
Quality & Test Automation
Promote a test-first development approach.
Ensure specifications translate directly into automated test scenarios.
Support automation frameworks such as Playwright.
Focus on edge cases, negative scenarios, and automation-first thinking.
Technical Understanding
Interpret APIs, system architecture, and application workflows.
Understand data and system pipelines.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation.
Standardization & Governance
Contribute to reusable templates, frameworks, and governance standards.
Drive consistency across teams for specification-driven development.
Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Experience
10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Experience writing detailed, structured, and testable specifications.
Good understanding of APIs, SDLC, and system architecture.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Knowledge of prompt engineering concepts.
Experience working with Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
Experience with automation frameworks, preferably Playwright.
Strong understanding of Quality Engineering and automation-first development.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
