Role: Linux Systems Engineer

Location: Boise ID (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Rate Range: $40-42/hr. on C2C

Exp. :: 5+ Years

– At least 3-5 years managing enterprise RedHat Unix/Linux solutions, preferably large scale

– Strong scripting skills(Shell, Python, etc.)

– Deep knowledge and experience supporting RHEL 8 & 9

– Proficient with LDAP configuration and management

– Experience with virtualization (vmware)

– Hands on experience with computer hardware maintenance

– Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service

– Strong drive for continuous improvement

– In-depth knowledge of Redhat Kickstart and configuration management tools (puppet preferred)

– Proven skills in automating systems services and tasks to streamline service and ensure consistency

– Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems

– Experience supporting servers in the cloud preferred

– Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)

– Strong skills in decision-making, prioritization and negotiation

– Passion and accountability for the environment you will be responsible for

– Ability to lift 50lbs.
