Job Title: ETL Lead
Type : Contract
Location: Plainsboro, NJ
Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of ETL/ELT pipelines using IICS/IDMC.
Design and implement data integration solutions using Informatica IICS/IDMC and Snowflake.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, transformations, and data validation processes.
Build scalable pipelines for loading data from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust data integration solutions.
Optimize IICS/IDMC mappings, workflows, SQL queries, and Snowflake workloads for performance and scalability.
Implement data quality, reconciliation, error-handling, and monitoring mechanisms.
Perform code reviews and establish ETL development standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Work closely with Data Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to ETL developers.
Mentor team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
Support deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
Ensure adherence to data security, governance, and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience
8–12+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering, including technical leadership experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS / IDMC.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse.
Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and data warehousing concepts.
Experience developing complex IICS/IDMC mappings, mappings tasks, taskflows, and integrations.
Experience with Snowflake data loading, transformations, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with large-volume and complex datasets.
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, fact/dimension tables, and data marts.
Experience with ETL performance tuning and optimization.
Experience implementing data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks.
Strong troubleshooting and production-support experience.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
