Role : Technical Product Owner (TPO)- PCI DSS
Location : Atlanta, GA or Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Month
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Technical Product Owner
(TPO) to support Scrum teams working on mission-critical systems in the
Payments domain. This role requires someone with strong technical
understanding, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to
manage priorities across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a
background in PCI DSS, data security, and system integrations, with the
ability to tailor their approach to the unique needs of each team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and maintain a
well-prioritized product backlog.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories
and technical requirements.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product demos for both
teams.
• Work with team focused on Payment Data, ensuring adherence to PCI DSS
standards and data security best practices.
• Support the team working on batch processing and system integrations
with third-party payment processors and internal systems.
• Adapt processes and workflows to effectively manage responsibilities
across two teams.
• Collaborate with other Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and
Architects to align roadmap, dependencies, and integration requirements.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner in
an Agile/Scrum environment with strong expertise in the Payments or
FinTech domain
• Proven experience managing multiple Scrum teams or complex product
areas.
• Strong understanding and working experience in PCI DSS compliance and
data security practices.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems, including batch
processing and third-party integrations.
• Solid technical background with an ability to understand and discuss
architecture, APIs, and data flows with engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adjust and pivot
priorities based on business needs.
