Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Operations Analyst to ensure smooth data workflows, improve data accuracy, and support business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee data pipelines, identify and resolve data-related issues, and provide actionable insights to help drive organizational decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Operations and Management:
Monitor, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support analytics and reporting needs.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all sources.
Work closely with data engineering teams to address data architecture and infrastructure challenges.
Analytics and Insights:
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
Problem Solving and Quality Assurance:
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and provide timely resolutions.
Conduct root cause analysis for data inconsistencies and implement preventative measures.
Test and validate data pipelines and processes to ensure reliability.
Collaboration and Communication:
Serve as the liaison between business teams and technical teams, translating data requirements into technical solutions.
Document processes, workflows, and data dictionaries for better cross-functional understanding.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Talend).
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or Azure).
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
4-7 years of experience in data operations, data analysis, or a similar role.
