Java Architect – Retail Domain
Location: Atlanta, GA (3 days onsite)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect with strong expertise in the retail domain, specializing in designing and developing scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep architectural knowledge, hands-on development experience, and strong domain understanding of retail supply chain and inventory systems.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AI/ML-based solution development is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-grade Java applications for retail inventory planning and supply-chain systems.
Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices to development teams.
Ensure adherence to enterprise standards in software design, coding guidelines, and performance optimization.
Conduct architectural reviews, code audits, and application performance tuning.
Drive innovation using AI/ML models, including demand forecasting, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation for retail systems.
Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance through continuous architectural enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and enterprise architecture.
Strong experience in the Retail Domain — including supply chain, merchandising, inventory planning, and store operations.
Deep expertise in:
Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
Microservices Architecture
RESTful APIs and distributed systems
Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on GCP (mandatory).
Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications (preferably in retail).
Strong understanding of cloud-native patterns, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
