Searching for a candidate with expertise in administering WebSphere Application Server and cloud system administration (including Azure, AWS, and Google). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a multi-tier and multi-platform enterprise class environments.

Minimum of
– 8+ Years in WebSphere administration
– 2+ years in cloud products administration
– 5+ Years with application security product administration
– 5+ Years Experience administering Integration platform.
– 5+ Years experience working with government agencies.
– 5+ Years of providing comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs.
– 3+ Years of providing guidance, consultation with IT management and technical staffs regarding the use of emerging technologies
Preferred Education
4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
Role description
Remote
– 8-10 hours per day
– M-F, JFS core hours: 7a-6p (any 8-10 hours w/in those times)

Job description (KSA):
Knowledge
·Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows operating system and system administration tasks
·Highly available vertical / horizontal scaling, disaster recovery capabilities
·Single Sign On, network load balancer, firewall, IP subnets.
·On-Prem monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace,
·Cloud monitoring capabilities like AZURE Monitor
·CI/CD pipelines: Ansible, Jenkins, Nexis, Avin, Bitbucket etc.)
·Version control subsystem like: Git,Subversion, etc.
·Storage subsystem

·Knowledge of application development, implementation, and deployment experience.
Web services and data integration techniques, messaging and transformation.
·Lead experience to create design documentation and participate in code reviews with application teams.

·Develop and troubleshoot message translation issues integrating with backends (JSON to SOAP/SOAP to JSON)

·Experience supporting and participating in 24 X7 on-call weekly rotation.
·Experience handling and reacting to infrastructure alerts reacting quickly.
