Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Modernization Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, and DB2 and a proven background in application modernization within the financial services industry.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience modernizing legacy mainframe applications through language migration, API integration with non-mainframe environments, application optimization, or integration with modern technologies such as Java and Python.

Required Skills
10+ years of overall experience in Mainframe/Legacy Application Development
Strong hands-on experience with:COBOL
CICS
DB2
Proven experience in Mainframe Application Modernization
Experience with one or more of the following:Mainframe language migration
Connecting mainframe applications with non-mainframe environments using APIs
Application modernization and optimization
Integration of Java and/or Python with mainframe applications
Strong understanding of legacy application architecture and modernization strategies
Experience working in financial services, preferably Cash Management
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Background
Financial Services / Banking experience
Cash Management domain experience
Experience migrating or transforming legacy mainframe applications
Experience integrating mainframe systems with modern applications, APIs, and cloud/non-mainframe platforms
