Role- Salesforce Developer with Sales Cloud and Conga CLM exp
Location- Remote
Job Summary
Role Overview:
The Salesforce Senior Developer – Sales Cloud & Conga CLM will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high quality Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Sales Cloud and Contract Lifecycle Management. The role requires hands on expertise in Apex, LWC, integrations, declarative tools, and CLM configuration. The Sr. Developer will collaborate with architects, functional leads, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and optimized solutions across the Lead-to-Contract lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Salesforce Development
• Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce components using Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch, Schedulers), LWC, Aura, and Visualforce (if needed).
• Build scalable and reusable code aligned with Salesforce coding standards and design patterns.
• Implement advanced automation using Flows, Approvals, and declarative platform features.
2. Sales Cloud Expertise
• Configure and enhance Sales Cloud features: Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Forecasting, Products, Price Books, Activities.
• Build and support Sales process automation, Sales Path, and Guided Selling.
• Collaborate with functional teams to streamline the Lead–Opportunity lifecycle.
3. Conga CLM Specialization
• Configure and maintain Conga CLM, including Contract Types, Clause Libraries, Playbooks, Document Templates, and Workflows.
• Build robust contract creation, negotiation, and approval processes integrated with Sales Cloud.
• Work with Conga Orchestrate (if applicable) to streamline contract lifecycle automation.
• Implement and optimize clause management, redlining, contract versioning, and obligation tracking.
• Troubleshoot CLM configuration issues, template errors, document generation problems, and workflow bottlenecks.
• Support integration between Sales Cloud, CLM, CPQ (if applicable), and external systems involved in contract processes (e.g., eSignature, ERP).
4. Integration & Data Work
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and external services.
• Work with middleware teams (MuleSoft or other ESB tools) for large scale integrations.
• Execute data migration for Sales Cloud and CLM components using Data Loader, APIs, and ETL templates.
5. Technical Leadership
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and align with governance standards.
• Translate functional/business requirements into comprehensive technical designs.
• Provide accurate development estimates and support sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
6. Testing & Deployment
• Build and maintain robust test classes with >85% code coverage.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Copado, Gearset, or other DevOps tools.
• Participate in SIT/UAT cycles and manage deployment activities.
7. Documentation & Best Practices
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and design artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce and Conga CLM best practices in security, scalability, and performance.
• Stay updated on Salesforce and Conga product releases; recommend relevant new features.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience:
• 5–8 years of hands on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong experience with Sales Cloud.
• At least 1–2 years of hands on Conga CLM implementation experience.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle Salesforce implementation as a core developer.
Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and asynchronous processing.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security/sharing model, and limits.
• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Outbound Messaging, Platform Events).
• Hands on experience configuring Conga CLM templates, clause libraries, workflows, and automation.
• Knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Exposure to Conga Composer, Conga Orchestrate, or CPQ.
• Knowledge of ETL/integration platforms (MuleSoft).
• Familiarity with Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance challenges and recommend optimization strategies.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Certifications
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (mandatory)
• Platform Developer II (highly preferred)
• Salesforce Administrator or Sales Cloud Consultant (bonus)
• Conga CLM Administrator or Conga CLM Specialist (highly preferred)
