Role: SAP Solution Architect – QM Lead
Location: REMOTE

Job Role and Responsibilities:
• The resource acts as solution architect in addition to the Product Innovation Quality Management (QM) lead role, responsible for understanding business needs and problems, and implementing/supporting solution within SAP QM (Quality Management) modules. Resource also act as the Solution Architect across Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), and Procurement (MM) modules. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing an end-to-end Supplier Return Process, ensuring seamless integration across supply chain functions
• Works globally to provide detailed analysis of potential system changes, develops/supports agreed solutions working with various IT teams and Business Stakeholders, tests system changes to ensure a validated state.
• Works closely with other IT team members from Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, customer facing, Security, Data Migration, Basis and BI, as well as business stakeholders and subject matter experts to make/support informed design decisions and deliver agreed solutions.
SAP QM Lead Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of SAP QM processes related to supplier returns.
• Define inspection lots, quality notifications, and defect recording mechanisms.
• Configure and optimize QM master data (inspection plans, characteristics, sampling procedures).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture quality requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality policies.
Solution Architect Responsibilities (PP/WM/EWM/Procurement):
• Review integrated process flows for supplier returns involving PP, WM, and MM modules.
• Provide architectural guidance and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Lead workshops to gather requirements and define business processes.
• Develop functional specifications and oversee technical development.
• Coordinate with development teams for custom enhancements and interfaces.
• Ensure data consistency and process integrity across modules.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience with and knowledge of PP & WM in S/4HANA is a big plus

• Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required

• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
• Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and travel
