Job Title: SAP Fiori Developer (Frontend/UI5)
Location: NY/NJ – Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP Fiori Developer with strong frontend expertise in SAPUI5 and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Fiori applications, working closely with backend teams, and ensuring seamless UI/UX experiences within SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 framework
Build and enhance custom Fiori applications and extend standard SAP Fiori apps
Develop responsive UI components using JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS
Implement data binding, fragments, and reusable UI5 controls
Develop master-detail and worklist applications
Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad tiles and catalogs
Collaborate with backend teams to integrate OData services
Perform debugging and troubleshooting across UI5 and ABAP layers
Maintain code repositories using GitHub / Bitbucket
Ensure adherence to SAP UI/UX standards and best practices
Required Skills
Strong experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development
Expertise in JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS
Hands-on experience with:
UI5 Controls
Data Binding Techniques
Fragments
Worklist & Master-Detail Apps
Experience in custom Fiori app development and extensions
Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration (Tiles, Catalogs)
Experience with GitHub or Bitbucket version control
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Basic knowledge of ABAP (debugging, enhancements)
Experience with OData services in ABAP
Understanding of Fiori roles and authorization concepts
Exposure to SAP CRM module
Candidate Profile
4–6+ years of experience in SAP UI technologies
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Good communication and collaboration skills
