Role: SAP ABAP on HANA (Techno-Functional) – MDG
Location: Atlanta, GA / Hybrid

Job Role and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for developing and customizing SAP applications using the ABAP programming language to meet specific business needs.
Should be able to deliver SAP MDG solutions with both Technical and Functional expertise.
The role involves requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, and custom development to support MDG (Master Data Governance) processes.
Work Location :- On-Site (Weekly 3 Days in Office).
**Required Skills:-**
Strong hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA (AMDP, CDS Views, OData).
Expertise in SAP MDG (Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Workflow, BRF+).
Functional knowledge of MDG processes and integration with ECC/S/4HANA.
Proficiency in SMT mapping, validations, and debugging techniques.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have:
Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP.
Experience in migration projects and upgrade activities.
**Key Responsibilities:-**
ABAP on HANA Development:
Develop optimized code using HANA pushdown techniques (AMDP, CDS Views).
Build OData services and integration scenarios.
Conduct performance tuning and ATC checks for HANA-based applications.
Implement enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments.
MDG Techno-Functional Expertise & Responsibilities include :-
Configure and customize SAP MDG modules (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance).
Perform data modeling, UI modeling, workflow configuration, and BRF+ rules.
Collaborate with business teams for requirement analysis and functional design.
Implement validations, derivations, and replication frameworks.
Support CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) and hierarchy management.
Functional Activities:
Conduct workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
Prepare functional specifications and ensure alignment with technical design.
Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and production deployment.
Client Interaction:
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
Provide expert guidance on MDG best practices and ABAP optimization.
