Role: Python Developer with GCP
Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite)

Certifications Needed: GCP Certifications would be preferred.
Job Description
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of development experience in maintaining high-quality software using Python programming language.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python 3.x and Python frameworks
• Solid knowledge of GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Composer, and Dataproc.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using custom scripting tools (Python/Java).
• Proven ability to refactor and translate legacy logic to GCP.

• Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives.
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Experience with Healthcare Industry is preferred.
