Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
15+ years’ experience in IT project management, specifically managing medium-to-large scale software application development projects.
10+ years’ experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
Hold a current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Experience with MS Dynamics related Projects
Ability to Direct multiple enterprise initiatives: migration of the Department’s public website to Microsoft Power Pages; Oracle-to-Dynamics 365 modernization; and implementation of a Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
Replace legacy Oracle systems with Microsoft Dataverse/D365 architecture, leading data conversion, process redesign, and retirement of legacy application components.
Lead enterprise data categorization, identifying datasets for Snowflake migration and designating obsolete records for secure deletion within the State Data Center.
Implement Snowflake data warehouse to centralize multi-program data, standardize reporting models, and enable enterprise Power BI analytics.
Govern multi-year, multi-million-dollar portfolio within OIT framework, delivering quarterly Operational Work Plan (OWP) updates to the Governor’s Office and legislative oversight bodies.
Has a high emotional quotient (EQ) to best engage with business stakeholders.
The ability to work within multiple project methodologies would also be highly sought (Kanban, Scrum, Agile, Waterfall).
Possess the professional and technical skills necessary to perform IT project management.
