Job Description

 

Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications:

Needing a Network Engineer to help configure approximately 800 Cisco IE3300 switches for various projects.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Unboxing the switches and checking their firmware version

Upgrading the firmware if needed and applying a standard configuration

Testing the configuration and verifying the functionality of the switches

Repacking the switches and preparing them for shipment to the destination sites

Updating the asset inventory list with the details of the switches

 

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

At least two years of experience configuring Cisco switches

Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability to work for six months on this project
