DTS to SSIS Migration
Senior Developer
As a Senior ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support data integration and data warehousing needs. This role requires migrating current state DTS packages to Future state SSI Packages as per standards. You will work closely with the data architecture team, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed.
• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Migrate legacy DTS packages to SSIS, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support ETL processes.
• Maintain and enhance existing ETL processes to improve performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and data integration.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to ETL processes and data flows.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Technical Skills:
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience as an ETL developer, with a focus on SSIS and SQL Server.
• Strong experience with SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience migrating DTS packages to SSIS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have:
o Healthcare Experience: Familiarity with healthcare technology standards , Formats
ETL SSIS, MS SQL Server.
