Responsibilities:
Required:
• Bachelor of Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in related fields.
• 5+ years' experience engineering, developing, and supporting MFT solutions (we are a TIBCO shop but experience with other tools like IBM Sterling, File Gateway, connect: Direct, etc. will be considered).
• Strong experience in protocols/ technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, AS2, and secure file transfer methodologies.
• Understanding of encryption algorithms (PGP, SFTP/SSH, etc.), secure file transfer practices, networking/network protocols, firewalls and how they interrelate with MFT.
• Extensive Scripting / Development experience and mindset (examples include Java, JSP, PERL, Python, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills, someone with the ability to troubleshoot problems and attributes to find the most appropriate technical solution (with a focus on MFT).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and flex when priorities change.
• An ability to influence through teamwork and collaboration.
• A passion to provide world class customer service.
• Ability to provide 7x24x365 on call support.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in Agile standups to understand file transfer
• requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end file transfer process including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Provide L3 Support, serve as an escalation point for more junior team members to promptly resolve issues.
• Develop automation and self-service mechanisms to reduce friction using the platform and ensure secure, efficient transfer of data between internal and external systems.
• Monitor performance, implement alerting, proactively resolve errors that arise through automation.
• Ensure security and compliance; conform to industry best practices and corporate policies to safeguard sensitive information from end-to-end.
• Produce and furnish web reports on file transfer processes, batch schedules, system
• performance, and KPI’s.
• The opportunity and mandate to stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices pertaining to MFT (Managed File Transfer).
