Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Developer / Power BI Consultant to support enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects administration and development, along with extensive experience in Microsoft Power BI. This role involves supporting reporting solutions, participating in BOBJ to Power BI migration initiatives, and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) platform administration and development.
Strong experience with:
Web Intelligence (WebI)
Crystal Reports
Universe Designer (UNX/UNV)
Central Management Console (CMC)
Scheduling and Publications
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including:
Power BI Desktop
Power BI Service
DAX
Power Query
Data Modeling
Workspace Administration
Gateway Management
Row-Level Security (RLS)
Proven experience leading or participating in BOBJ to Power BI migration projects.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise BI modernization initiatives.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Knowledge of cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure preferred).
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
Microsoft Power BI certifications and/or SAP BusinessObjects certifications are preferred.
