Job Description:

Partner with the vendor team to evaluate event-streaming solutions, focusing on Apache Kafka or equivalent technologies.

Lead discussions on requirements, system capabilities, and POC implementation strategies.

Design and Development:

Architect and implement the event-streaming POC, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Develop a detailed reference architecture for enterprise-wide event-streaming use cases.

System Integration:

Integrate Kafka with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time processing.

Design schemas and data pipelines using Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other ecosystem tools.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data flow and processing.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Document the POC process, reference architecture, and operational guidelines.

Train internal teams on event-driven best practices and Kafka usage.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations) to gather requirements and ensure alignment.

Present POC findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
